Crew changes are easy: fast ferries cross from Pointe-à-Pitre to Grand-Bourg in about an hour several times a day, Saint-Louis has ferries from Saint-François and Pointe-à-Pitre, and the Les Basses airfield (GBJ) has flights to Pointe-à-Pitre.

Position is the aerodrome (OSM; IATA GBJ, ICAO TFFM, built in the 1950s at Pointe des Basses, Grand-Bourg). Express des Îles (FRS): Pointe-à-Pitre to Grand-Bourg Mon/Tue/Thu/Sat 8:15am and 5:15pm, extra sailings Wed/Fri/Sun; Grand-Bourg to Pointe-à-Pitre from 6am and 4pm (tourist office timetable; verify). Saint-François rotations to Marie-Galante and Les Saintes resumed on 17 October 2026 per the tourist office; the COMATRILE Les Saintes-Saint-Louis boat was suspended for 2025-2026. ID required to board.
