Rendezvous Bay (Antigua)
17° 0.7′ N · 61° 48.3′ W
A quarter-mile of empty sand just west of Falmouth Harbour, reached only by boat, a long hike or a serious 4x4, and often completely deserted.
Practical
Position is the OpenStreetMap named-bay node. Anchoring is mostly good on sand, but the wide-open bay faces south and picks up swell; the east end is a little more sheltered (Antigua Marine Guide). A lunch stop rather than an overnight in most conditions. Trails run from the west end of the beach through the rainforest to Wallings Dam (Wallings Nature Reserve), and inland about 2 miles to Spring Hill Riding Stables and the Falmouth road bus route (AMG).
Best for
A deserted beach stop between Falmouth and the west coast
Season
Best in settled easterly trades; avoid in southerly swell
