Three miles of golden sand running north from Charlestown to Cades Bay, mostly undeveloped behind the palms apart from the Four Seasons and a cluster of beach bars.
Practical
Coordinates from Wikipedia. Public beach; dinghy landing allowed. The beach-bar cluster (Sunshine's, Turtle Time, Lime, Double Deuce) sits between the Four Seasons and Charlestown. A dirt road opposite Sunshine's leads uphill to plantation ruins about an hour's walk inland (private property - treat with care; ActiveCaptain, 2016). Bring bug spray at dusk.
Best for
Beach walks and sunsets from the mooring
