Coordinates from Wikipedia. Population about 1,500. The Nevis Tourism Authority in the old Treasury building at the head of the pier hands out maps and the heritage-trail walking tour. ATMs and banks (Scotiabank and local banks) a minute from the pier; Digicel office a block south. Taxis wait at the head of the pier; buses north leave from the stop by the triangular park south of the pier, buses south and east a block further on (fares government-regulated).
