Fort Oscar (Gendarmerie)
17° 53.8′ N · 62° 51.2′ W
The Swedish fort (formerly Gustav Adolph) at the seaward tip of La Pointe, rebuilt as the island's gendarmerie and overlooking the harbour entrance.
Practical
OpenStreetMap position. It is a working gendarmerie, not a museum - view from outside. The gendarmerie handles immigration questions for St Barth (bta.st-barthelemy@gendarmerie.interieur.gouv.fr). It is also the landmark on your starboard hand entering the harbour.
