Charlestown's walkable shopping: a produce market a block from the pier, Best Buy and Super Foods supermarkets, a Ram's and a Valu-Mart on the south side of town, bakeries and liquor shops.

Position is Best Buy Grocery (OpenStreetMap), about five minutes' walk south of the dinghy dock - small, cramped and crowded but well stocked (ActiveCaptain, 2016). Super Foods Supermarket is just beyond (17.13614, -62.62691). The veggie market is through the fence past the rubbish bins and a block up the road, open Mon-Sat - 'best selection of fresh food since Guyana' (2016). Larger shops: Ram's (17.13199, -62.62048) and Valu-Mart (17.12989, -62.61862), south of town past the Sol station - southbound buses pass them. TDC Home & Building Depot hardware is about 20 minutes' walk north of town. Water at the dinghy dock tap; free rubbish bins by the ferry terminal.
