Practical
Coordinates are the Quill summit (Wikipedia) as representative habitat; walk the Main Quill Trail and Crater Trail. The Caribbean Birding Trail says the quail-dove is often seen only here on the island and describes eight vegetation zones from dry forest to evergreen seasonal woodland. Go at first light, walk quietly on the crater floor. US$10 annual nature fee per person. STENAPA guided hikes (birds, orchids, butterflies or plants) were listed at US$35 per person including the hiking tag, minimum 2 - verify locally.
