Brades and neighbouring Sweeney's and Davy Hill have several well-stocked supermarkets, minimarts and bakeries - enough to restock properly, though much is imported on weekly ships.

Roadside stalls sell local fruit and vegetables. Cards widely but not universally accepted. Minibuses run about every 30 minutes on weekdays, EC$3 to EC$5. Noforeignland rates provisioning cost as high.
