Antigua Sailing Week

17° 1.1′ N · 61° 46.1′ W

One of the Caribbean's great regattas, founded in 1967 from a classic-yacht race to Guadeloupe. Since 2026 it runs in a new four-day point-to-point format, racing and cruising between destinations around Antigua with beach parties at each stop.

Practical

2027 dates: April 21 to 25 (58th edition); entry via Yachtscoring.com, early-bird US$12 per ft for entries paid by October 31, 2026 (sailingweek.com). Pin is the National Sailing Academy in English Harbour, the organizer's base (OSM; contact +1 268 725 6651). A separate Antigua Racing Cup of buoy racing (CSA/IRC) from English and Falmouth Harbours now runs earlier, in March (ABYMA). Expect English and Falmouth Harbours to be packed and marinas fully booked; Noonsite warns petty theft rises during regattas.
