Anse du Colombier Beach
17° 55.4′ N · 62° 52.1′ W
A crescent of white sand at the head of Colombier bay, reachable only by boat or on foot, with reefs at both ends and the hillside Rockefeller-era estate above.
Practical
OpenStreetMap beach position. No facilities, no shade apart from sea grapes, no food - bring water. Dogs are banned on all island beaches. Snorkel both ends of the beach. Tortoises may be seen on the hills behind; the slope is a good sundowner spot.
Best for
Swimming, snorkelling and a beach landing from the moorings
