The only haul-out on the Big Island: a privately run yard and marina in Honokohau's inner harbor with a travel lift and basic hard-stand storage, renamed The Yard under new ownership in 2025.

Coordinate is the OpenStreetMap outline labelled Gentry's Kona Marina. Noonsite (July 2024) lists 'The Yard' Marina (formerly Gentry's) in the small boat inner harbor with possible berth space, contact (808) 327-3685. A 2015 Noonsite member report describes a travel lift and basic land storage, with all boat work done by independent contractors. A February 2025 post by tenant Pacific Boats & Yachts (74-425 Kealakehe Parkway #3B) announced new ownership and planned upgrades to haul-out areas and service yards; lift capacity and rates were not published, so call ahead. Noonsite also notes the harbor has repair facilities and a dry dock but that facilities are basic.
