The basalt point at Poipu Beach, called Tortugas by divers for its resident green sea turtles; shallow and good for beginners.

Seasport Divers: 30-60 ft, beginners through advanced, many green sea turtles. HAR 13-256-53: the Nukumoi swimming zone along Nukumoi Beach is closed to vessels, and the ingress/egress corridor from the basalt rock is limited to non-motorized craft. Coordinate: USGS GNIS 'Nu Kumoi Point'. Give resting turtles and monk seals space.
