A protected beach-park snorkel just south of the Wailua River mouth - the east side's go-to snorkel for beginners and bad-weather days.

Seasport Divers: 3-10 ft, very protected, good for beginners and bad-weather days, near the Wailua River. A shore site only - Coast Pilot says anchorage off Wailua (10-15 fathoms, rocky) is unprotected and unsafe in the trades, so visit by car from Nawiliwili or Kapaa. Coordinate approximated just south of the Wailua River mouth (Wikipedia position 22.045, -159.33639).
