Zakynthos Town Fuel

37° 47.0′ N · 20° 53.9′ E · approximate

There is no fuel berth for yachts in Zakynthos port; fuel comes from road filling stations near the waterfront or by mini-tanker delivered to the quay.

Practical

Coordinate is the ELINOIL road station a block behind the north waterfront (OpenStreetMap), not a fuel dock; other stations (Shell, EKO, Avin) are along the roads out of town. Noonsite says fuel stations are around the harbour or fuel can be delivered by mini-tanker. SailingIssues warns of reports of rip-offs by a freelance diesel truck and water truck, so agree the price and quantity before any delivery. For jerry-can top-ups, the station is about 300 m from the north breakwater berths. Road stations nearest the south basin (OpenStreetMap): Α.Π. (operator AUTO D.I.A.) at 37.7709, 20.9028 and ΑΠ at 37.7691, 20.9013; the ELINOIL by the north waterfront is run by Kollaros Antonios. No marine fuel operator with a published phone was found in the sources used; ask the Port Fund kiosk on the Agios Nikolaos pier (3pm–9pm except Mondays) for current delivery options.
