Coordinate approx: Plaka harbour. Sailing Issues: Plaka is sheltered except from SE sirocco in midwinter to early spring. Sea-Seek: Plaka can be untenable in S gales; Ieraka is untenable in strong SE; Fokianos is untenable in SE. For winter cruising, the Vivari (Kaidhari) inlet near Drepano gives all-round shelter.
