Tranquil Bay (Liaditis Bay, Nidri)

38° 42.1′ N · 20° 42.9′ E

The sheltered anchorage half a mile east of Nidri quay on the inside of the Geni peninsula, almost landlocked and very popular.

Practical

Mud and weed with good to very good holding (my-sea). Sailingissues.com calls it so overcrowded that it should be known by its real name, Liaditis Bay. Swell can come in from the north. A small coaster wreck lies on the edge of the mudbank (my-sea, 38.70220, 20.71467) and yachts sometimes tie to it; a shoal is also marked. Pontoons around the bay belong to Nydri Marine, Armonia Hotel and Sailing Holidays. Dinghy to Nidri for shopping.
