Thermisia Bay

37° 24.9′ N · 23° 20.4′ E · approximate

A quiet farming village on the Hydra Gulf coast 7–10 km east of Ermioni, below a Venetian castle on a 292 m limestone crag and beside a lagoon that was once famous for salt pans.

Practical

Coordinate approx: the small harbour mapped in OSM (seamark harbour) by the Thermisia ferry landing. No pilot-book data was found for depths or holding here — approach with your chart and plotter, and anchor off in settled weather only. About 500 residents; citrus, apricots and olives; several beaches nearby (Pigadia/Sambariza with tavernas, Plepi). Small boats and water taxis to Hydra run from nearby Metochi.
