Porto Katsiki Beach (Lefkada)
38° 36.0′ N · 20° 33.0′ E
"Goat Port": a half-moon of white pebbles under towering white cliffs near the south-west tip of Lefkada, routinely ranked among the finest beaches in Greece.
Practical
Steps lead down from a clifftop car park (Wikipedia, Greeka); some sunbeds and a beach bar; very crowded in high season, with tripper boats from Nidri and water taxis from Vasiliki. By yacht it is a calm-weather day stop only: deep clear water with some rocks above and below the surface; sand and stone with moderate holding; use a trip line and keep someone aboard; not protected from the prevailing winds, so do not stay overnight (my-sea). Day anchorage point per my-sea: 38.60087, 20.54868.
Best for
Spectacular calm-weather lunch stop
Season
Calm settled days only; untenable in the afternoon NW and in any westerly swell
