Anchorage· Aegina· Greece — Ionian, Saronic & Argolic
Perdika Harbour (Aegina)
37° 41.4′ N · 23° 27.1′ E
The prettiest harbour on Aegina — a fishing village of fish tavernas looking across a narrow strait to the green, deer-roamed island of Moni.
Practical
Safe in nearly all conditions except strong SE–ESE sirocco, which reflects waves off Moni into the port; in strong westerlies use only the leeward sides of the piers. The NW pier was extended and rebuilt in 2022, and the openings in the NW breakwater can also be used. Holding poor in places (heavy weed); rocks extend off the west side of the central pier. Water and power; fuel listed; ATM, supermarket and pharmacy in the village. Fees about €10–20 a night depending on size (2024–25 reviews — verify locally); a friendly harbour master was reported in 2020. Crowded in summer, on weekends and especially on Thursdays as charter yachts stage back toward Athens — arrive early. 21 nm from Alimos.
Best for
The best harbour night on Aegina, with Moni next door
Season
Apr–Oct; avoid in strong SE–ESE
