Ermioni Water & Power Pillars

37° 23.2′ N · 23° 15.0′ E · approximate

Card-operated water and power pillars on Ermioni's main harbour quay — one of the few places in the Hydra Gulf to fill tanks without a tanker.

Practical

Coordinate approx: the OSM-mapped marina/quay point in the main harbour by the ferry quay. Noonsite: water and power at certain points around the main harbour, operated by prepaid cards bought at the kiosk. A 2016 cruiser report gave water €3 per 1,000 litres (minimum) and power €1 per kWh — verify locally. No water or power at the moorings on the south side of the peninsula. The inner harbour is mostly local fishing boats with room for about 10–12 small yachts (2016); ferry wash makes the quay uncomfortable, so keep well off. In easterlies even of medium strength, swell makes mooring on the outside or anchoring dangerous; Kapari Bay, the large bay immediately south, is a good alternative except in E–NE winds (open N/NW; some tavernas there have pontoons).
