Bistiou Cove (Carol's Bay, Poros)

37° 32.8′ N · 23° 29.0′ E

A tight, idyllic cove hidden in the north coast of Poros, ringed by pines over translucent water; road maps call it 'Carol's Bay'.

Practical

SailingIssues marker 37.54621N 23.48251E: almost all-round shelter, open only narrowly to the north-east; good holding. The entrance is hard to spot: use Bisti islet (OSM 37.55271N 23.48521E) to guide you in. The northern entrance is now partly blocked by a fish farm. Room for only a few boats; take a line ashore.

Best for

Secluded overnight on the north coast
