Windmills Anchorage outside Mandraki (Rhodes)
36° 26.9′ N · 28° 13.8′ E
A small patch of water just east of Mandraki's windmill mole where a dozen yachts swing in sight of St Nicholas Fortress. It is tolerated rather than official, but handy when the harbour is full.
Practical
Sailing Issues: room for about 12 yachts plus the occasional yellow tourist 'submarine'. It is officially not allowed but often condoned. Expect wash from cruise ships. Holding not recorded; check your set. The mySea anchorage pin is here. Dinghy into Mandraki.
Best for
Overflow anchoring when Mandraki is full
