Anchorage· Leros· Greece — Dodecanese, Sporades & North Aegean
Vromolithos Bay (Leros)
37° 8.8′ N · 26° 51.7′ E
A small anchorage in the lee of a headland next to Panteli, with good holding and two of Leros' best tavernas above the beach.
Practical
Either anchor in 8–12 m just off the headland with a long line ashore (best meltemi shelter), or in 6–7 m outside the buoyed swimming area. Holding is good in sand and weed. Gusts come in with strong N–NW winds. Taverna Paradisos is known for boiled octopus, with live bouzouki on Saturdays per an older report. Dimitris o Karaflas on the headland top has excellent food and views. A waterfront cafe lets cruisers use its paths up to Panteli.

Well-sheltered east-coast night with great food
