Psaropoula Taverna (Panteli)

37° 9.0′ N · 26° 51.7′ E

A fish taverna in the middle of Panteli's waterfront, with tables on the sand at night under the castle and windmills. It's a favourite of guidebook writers.

Practical

Wikivoyage singles out its fisherman's spaghetti with lobster and kritharaki (orzo). kalispera.se ranks it the top pick of the cluster with Patimenos and Zorbas next door. Panteli is a small fishing harbour: yachts anchor off in Panteli Bay (see Panteli Bay (Leros)) and land the dinghy at the fishing quay or the beach. The beach gets very crowded in high season.
