Tris Boukes Bay (Skyros)
38° 46.5′ N · 24° 35.9′ E · approximate
The great natural harbour at the southern end of Skyros, named for the three mouths between Skyros and the islets of Platia and Sarakino. Rupert Brooke is buried in an olive grove above the bay.
Practical
Position is approximate: it was set inside the bay between Platia islet and the north tip of Sarakino, using the OpenStreetMap islet outlines and the position of Brooke's grave. Check it against your chart before you rely on it. No published depth or holding data was found. Use the documented spots nearby: the Southern Anchorage to the west (sand/mud, 6 m), Platia islet (lunch stop) and Glyfada on Sarakino. Much of southern Skyros is military land: obey any no-landing signs. There are no services, and Linaria is about 8 nm away.
