Pythos (Pythou) Islet Dives — WWII Aircraft Tail (Trikeri)
39° 10.8′ N · 23° 3.1′ E · approximate
The largest of three islets that local divers call the 'Mikra'. On the north side, at 24 m, lies the tail of an unidentified aircraft, probably from the Second World War. The east side has an easy reef, an ideal 'relaxed' dive.
Practical
The position is the OpenStreetMap Pythos islet north-west of Palaio Trikeri. Matching it to Zoumbosub's 'Pythou' is inferred from the name and setting; confirm with the dive centre. North side: visibility over 15 m, and a reef that slopes without sheer drops to great depth (maximum 50 m), manageable for all levels. East side: a gentle reef full of life, very good visibility, maximum 24 m, all levels. Boat access only. Watch your depth on the north side.
