A bay on the east coast a few miles north of Mytilene with crystal-clear water and a mud bottom.

Practical

Straightforward approach from the south-east, even at night. Thick mud with weed patches gives excellent holding but clings to the anchor on retrieval; one crew anchored in 4.5 m. Decent meltemi protection (the afternoon northerly felt lighter than outside) but exposed to NE, E and SE.
