North Myrina Anchorage (Romeikos Gialos side)
39° 53.1′ N · 25° 3.6′ E
The anchorage north of Myrina's castle off the Romeikos Gialos waterfront, with restaurants and bars ashore — an alternative when the harbour is full.
Practical
Grecosailor lists this point as an 'Agios Ioannis Beach' anchorage and calls it a great alternative when the marina is full, with music (not too loud) and restaurants. Romeikos Gialos, Myrina's northern seafront, is about 400 m south (OpenStreetMap). Sand bottom; exposed to northerlies — use Tourkikos Gialos or the harbour in a meltemi.
Best for
Evening ashore on Myrina's café-lined north front
Season
Settled weather or southerlies
