Mikro Chorio Ghost Village (Tilos)

Tilos's old capital, founded by the Knights of St John in the 15th century and abandoned since 1960: roofless stone houses on a hill above Livadia bay, and a bar that lights up the ruins at night.
Practical
Its people moved down to the harbour from the 1930s and took roofs and timber with them, leaving the walls; the church has been fully restored and a cocktail bar has set up (Sailing Issues; Wikipedia). Wikivoyage: atmospheric by day, and at night a small bar brings the ruins to life with music and candlelight. The castle of Mikro Chorio is just above (36.4239 N, 27.3708 E).
