Lindos village supermarkets & mini-markets
36° 5.5′ N · 28° 5.2′ E
A cluster of small supermarkets and mini-markets in the lanes of Lindos village, below the Acropolis, close enough to the bay to carry a top-up shop back to the dinghy.
Practical
Pin is Supermarket Acropolis on OpenStreetMap, just off the main square. Others mapped nearby on OSM: abc Supermarket (36.09155 N, 28.08623 E), Dimitris Supermarket (36.09047 N, 28.08576 E), Ena Supermarket, Corner Shop Kostas, and at the village entrance by the Krana bus stops Flora supermarket and Mary's Discount Market (about 36.0913 N, 28.0806 E). ATMs (Alpha Bank, Eurobank and others) are around the main square, and there is a post office. The square is roughly 550 m on foot from the Lindos Bay anchorage and a similar distance from St Paul's Bay (straight-line distance computed from coordinates; the lanes are steep, stepped and crowded at midday). These are resort shops: expect basics, drinks, ice and fruit at tourist prices, not a full provisioning run. Do the big shop at Rhodes town. OSM gives no opening hours, so check on the day. No supermarket in Lindos is mentioned in Sailing Issues' Rhodes page.
Best for
Top-up provisions while anchored at Lindos
Season
Best stocked May–Oct; many shops close in winter
