Lientou Beach (Lipsi)
37° 17.8′ N · 26° 45.8′ E
The town beach, a short walk west of the harbour — Lipsi's most popular, shallow and family-friendly.
Practical
Overflow anchorage for about 10 yachts: anchor in 4–8 m, usually on the east side, but the bottom is very shallow and flat — check the whole swing circle. Lots of swell and rolling even without wind; katabatic gusts at night; untenable in SW winds (Sailing Issues). Grecosailor: sand in 8–10 m north of the beach, excellent holding but gusty in meltemi. Partly organised (Greeka).
Best for
Swim-and-walk-to-town anchorage
