Kambos Bay (Lipsi)

37° 17.9′ N · 26° 45.5′ E

A long sandy beach bay west of town — the preferred anchorage near the port in northerlies, favoured by superyachts for privacy.

Practical

Less rolling than Lientou, but no guarantees (Sailing Issues). Grecosailor: sand/seagrass in 5–8 m, poor holding with gusts from several directions — find sand and be ready to re-anchor. 15-minute walk to town; Agios Georgios church uphill.

Best for

Anchoring within walking distance of town
