Psara's best beaches lie just north of the town: Lazareta with cool blue water and fine sand about 2 km out, and Katsouni with shallow clear water and golden sand.

Practical

Lazareta considered the island's best (ferryhopper). Lakka, a large sandy beach, is a little further north and reachable on foot. Spitalia, less than 1 km from town, has a taverna nearby. All are dinghy or walking distance from the harbour.
