Kastani Beach (Skopelos)
39° 7.3′ N · 23° 39.3′ E
The pine-fringed west-coast beach where several Mamma Mia! scenes were filmed — small, clear and lively, with a lido and beach bar.
Practical
Daytime anchorage for swimming; yachting.com recommends overnighting in a nearby bay instead and arriving early morning or late afternoon to avoid the crowds. Kastani lies about 100 m north of the long Milia beach, facing west towards Dasia islet and Skiathos (Thinking Traveller). The caves and tunnels of Megalo Pefko just north can be explored by paddleboard, kayak or snorkel (MarinaTips).
