39° 10.4′ N · 23° 20.6′ E · approximate

A beach taverna with tables on the sand at Katigiorgis, a small fishing village on the Aegean side of south Pelion looking across to Skiathos. It is famous for kakavia (fisherman's soup), and full-moon nights draw a crowd.

Practical

Tel +30 2423 071071 (travel.gr). Pick your fish from the display. Meze include sea fennel, pickled tsitsiravla and steamed mussels. The position is the OpenStreetMap Katigiorgis hamlet node; the taverna itself is not mapped, so the position is approximate. Katigiorgis faces Skiathos across the channel and is open to the north and east, so anchor off only in settled weather. Hours were not verified.
