Congas Beach Anchorage (Molyvos)

Clear water off the beach just south of Molyvos harbour, in front of the old olive-oil mill, with a beach bar ashore.
Practical
Patches of weed and sand: the sand (more of it toward the old mill, away from the port) holds well, the weed is slippery and gives no grip. Not protected from southerlies — one crew got a rough chop when a southerly filled in. Short dinghy ride to Molyvos harbour.

Overflow anchorage when Molyvos quay is full
