Leros' most popular beach: a long organized strip along Alinda Bay, 3 km north-west of Platanos, backed by tavernas, cafés and beach bars.
Practical
Sand and fine pebbles, well organized with sunbeds and beach bars (Greeka). The Bellenis Tower Museum and the Commonwealth War Cemetery are along the same road. Yachts anchor off in settled weather (see Alinda Bay (Leros)). The bay is exposed to the north-east, so leave before the meltemi fills in. Coordinate from Wikivoyage.
