Anchorage in the lee of a rocky islet off Chios's west coast, flat water thanks to the nearby shore.
Practical
7-10 m on sand and kelp, good holding; very flat and very clear (Grecosailor). Neighbouring Agios Sostis islets (38°18'41.8"N 25°57'27.7"E): 5 m sand/seagrass with excellent holding between the two islets — the south cove did not hold; north swell is reduced here.
Best for
Clear-water swim and snorkel on the west coast
