Agios Konstantinos Byzantine settlement (Telendos)
37° 0.9′ N · 26° 54.7′ E
Ruins of a 7th–10th century fortified settlement on Telendos' steep north slope: houses, cisterns, walls, and the ruined church of Saints Constantine and Helen with a rare 7th-century jewelled-cross fresco.
Practical
Two ways in: a footpath of about an hour starting west of the church of Agios Vasileios, or by boat to a small bay and a short walk up. Rough terrain, no shade, so take water. Coordinate from the municipal site's map pin.
