Agathonisi South-Coast Bays
37° 27.1′ N · 26° 58.3′ E · approximate
Agathonisi's south coast is a chain of small sandy-and-weedy bays — Spilias, Gaidouravlakos, Tsankari, Palos, Poros and Vathy Pigadi — most of them sheltered from the meltemi.
Practical
See the individual entries. Best overall: Palos; nearest the village: Spilias and Gaidouravlakos; hardest holding: Tsankari and Poros (Sailing Issues). Coordinate is approximate: it reuses the Tsankari Bay position, mid-coast, to stand for the whole south coast. Watch charted fish farms — several have been removed but still show on chartplotters.
