Tourkopigado Bay (Iraklia)
36° 50.0′ N · 25° 28.5′ E
Pigadi, also charted as Tourkopigado bay, is a very narrow inlet on Iraklia's east coast below a small beach, a slot of turquoise water between rock walls.
Practical
Open only to the prevailing NE, so it is a southerly or calm-weather anchorage, not a meltemi one (sailingissues). Space for one or two boats; a stern line ashore is likely needed. No depth published. OpenStreetMap names the bay Tourkopigado and the beach Pigadi.
Best for
Southerly-wind hideaway for one or two boats
Season
Southerlies or calm; untenable in NE meltemi
