naxos.gr: on 15 August an annual traditional celebration is held at Panagia village outside the Church of the Entrance of the Virgin Mary into the Temple. Other Iraklia feasts (naxos.gr): 28 August vespers in the Agios Ioannis cave (see that entry); 8 November, Taxiarches at Agios Georgios church; 9 November, Agios Nektarios chapel. Expect the harbour to fill around 15 August; arrive early. Position is the OSM Panagia church.
