Port-Glyfa-Kambos Loop (Antiparos)
37° 0.4′ N · 25° 4.6′ E · approximate
The island's easy all-ages bike route runs from the port south along the strait to Glyfa beach, inland to Kambos and back, a quiet way to see Antiparos's farmed interior on foot or by rented bike.
Practical
Antiparos.com (cycling page): the 'relatively easy ride for all levels and ages' goes Port - Glyfa - Kambos - Port; a longer challenging route circles via Soros, Agios Sostis, Agios Georgios, Monastiria, Kambos and Sifneikos. No distances are given; Glyfa is about 3.5 km south of the Chora (antiparos.com Glyfa page). On foot, go early and take water. A cyclists' gathering is held on July 15-16 during the Agia Marina feast, and a mountain-bike course runs in early September. Position approximate: Glyfa, the route's southern point.
Best for
A morning ride or walk while the boat sits off the Chora
