Profitis Ilias Summit (Antiparos)
36° 59.7′ N · 25° 2.8′ E
The little chapel of Profitis Ilias, built by islanders in 1937, crowns Antiparos's highest point at 308 m, with a view over much of the Cyclades on a clear day.
Practical
Antiparos.com: at the island's highest peak, 308 m; depending on visibility you can see many neighbouring Cycladic islands. Wikipedia gives the same 308 m height for the summit in the middle of the island. The sources do not describe a marked trail, so plan the route on a map from the Agios Georgios or Soros side, carry plenty of water and avoid midday heat; there is no shade. Position from the OpenStreetMap chapel node.
Best for
A sunrise or late-afternoon climb for the view
