37° 1.8′ N · 25° 5.7′ E · approximate

Billed as Greece's premier superyacht regatta, the Cyclades Cup (first held in 2024) brings 30 m-plus racing yachts to Antiparos each June for three days of racing in the meltemi-accelerated water between Antiparos and Paros.

Practical

Organised with the Yacht Club of Greece, sanctioned by the SuperYacht Racing Association, with ORC technical support (SYRA). 2025: 12-15 June, fleet capped at 20; winds peaked at 27 kn on day one and day three was cancelled. 2026: 10-13 June, the third edition, capped at 25 yachts. The social programme has included a guided tour of the Despotiko sanctuary with archaeologist Yannos Kourayos and an owners' dinner in an olive grove (Yachtway). Expect the Antiparos anchorages and channel to be busy with race traffic in mid-June; check the next year's dates on the event site. Position approximate: the strait between Antiparos and Paros where racing takes place.
