Naxos Island National Airport (JNX)

37° 4.9′ N · 25° 22.1′ E

Naxos's small airport, 3 km south of Chora near Agios Prokopios, with short hops to Athens. It is handy for crew changes without a ferry.

Practical

IATA JNX, ICAO LGNX. Opened 1992. Single 901 m (2,957 ft) asphalt runway 18/36, so only small turboprops use it. Olympic Air and Sky Express fly to Athens, and Aegean runs seasonal flights to Heraklion and Thessaloniki (Wikipedia; check current schedules). It is a short taxi ride from the marina or the Agia Anna mole. Ferries from Piraeus and Rafina are the higher-capacity alternative.
