36° 36.4′ N · 24° 57.3′ E · approximate

A long sandy beach 1.5 km south of Karavostasis, in a scattered farming hamlet with the island's campsite. The tourism site calls it protected from almost all winds.

Practical

Position approx: about 100 m off the Livadi beach point on folegandros.gr, checked against the OSM coastline. No cruising guide we found gives anchoring details here. folegandros.gr: a large sandy beach 1.2-1.5 km from Karavostasis by the coast road, with food and water at the campsite café; it describes it as protected from almost all winds (a land-based view, so expect meltemi gusts). Sound in carefully and look for sand patches, as at the neighbouring coves. The footpath to Katergo (30 minutes) starts at the Livadi settlement. Livadi Camping is on the shore (OSM).
