37° 38.4′ N · 24° 20.5′ E · approximate
The small squares of Ioulida hold several family tavernas. The Piatsa, the only place in the village open every day all year, serves lamb in lemon sauce and strapatsada at a handful of outdoor tables. To Steki, near the Lion, does stuffed squid and goat in lemon sauce.
Practical
Greektravel lists The Piatsa (owner Yannis Piaouris, open year-round, 5-6 outdoor tables), To Steki on the mountainside edge of the village near the Lion, Yiannis Taverna for grills (suckling pig and kondosouvli on Saturdays; weekends only in winter) and the Abourkouna wine bar above the square. Greeka adds Kylix, a food and wine bar opened in 2017, and To Spiti sti Hora. The coordinate is approximate: the centre of Ioulida's main lane, taken from the OpenStreetMap positions of O Paparounas and the En Lefko cafe. Individual tavernas are not mapped. Cars stop at the village entrance.
