Glysoura Cove (Kastri)

37° 29.5′ N · 24° 56.5′ E

A north-east-coast cove below the Kastri prehistoric settlement. It is a good base for snorkelling and for the climb to the Bronze Age walls.

Practical

Grecosailor reviewers: seagrass and mud with sandy patches for anchoring; good snorkelling; ferry swell. Exposed to the north and east, so it is a calm-day stop. Kavas describes Kastri bay as having a beach and an archaeological site.
