Gas Bottle Exchange (Lavrio)
37° 41.8′ N · 24° 3.5′ E · approximate
Lavrio is the last easy place to sort out cooking gas before the Cyclades. mySea lists gas bottles among the facilities at both Olympic Marine and the Lavrio town port.
Practical
mySea lists 'Gas (bottles)' under facilities for Olympic Marine and for Lavrio port, but names no supplier, and the Olympic Marine facilities page lists no gas dealer. Ask at the Olympic Marine reception (VHF 9, +30 22920 63700) or at the Albatross Sea Market in the marina, and in town ask the chandlers near the quay. Charter yachts normally come with full bottles from the base. A noforeignland review elsewhere in the Saronic notes Camping Gaz exchange (not refill) at some outlets, so carry a bottle type sold in Greece if you can. Coordinate is approximate: the Olympic Marine marina position, since no specific gas outlet could be verified.
